Tela Nova is a tribute to the original Stone Island material from 1982, Tela Stella.
Tela Stella is a cotton fabric that has been impregnated on both sides with special pigmented resin in contrasting colours. The faded look is achieved through an extended enzyme wash that breaks down the density of the material at the same time.
